
Theatre Covington, the newest branch of the organization, provides acting classes for Kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as high quality community theatre open to all skill levels.

Acting for Grades K-2: Let's Pretend
Pretend play takes center stage in our Kindergarten-2nd grade class. Students will engage in fun, interactive games and exercises specifically designed to enhance creativity and self-esteem, learn storytelling and dramatic movement and improve communication skills.

Imagination is the star of our 3rd-5th grade class. Students will engage in exciting, interactive games and exercises specifically designed to instill confidence, explore characterization and introduce the wonders of acting.

Discovering your unique talent is in the spotlight of our 6th-8th grade class. Students will engage in scene work and learn techniques specifically designed to develop sensory awareness, build improvisational and ensemble skills and promote trust and independent thinking.

Acting for Grades 9-12: Let's Act
Applying acting techniques and bringing them to the stage is the focus of our 9-12 grade class. Students will engage in advanced scene work and learn techniques specifically designed to refine vocal skills and stage movement, develop multi-dimensional characters and cultivate dynamic relationships.

Oxford Acting Company
Our auditioned performance group, Oxford Acting Company has joined Theatre Covington in bringing high quality musical theatre to our community. Previously a branch of Oxford Youth Singers, OAC is composed of 8-12 grade students who receive intensive vocal, dance and acting training through weekly master classes.
Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30pm starting in August and
Thursdays from 8:00 to 9:00pm starting in January
