The Newton County Youth Strings program specializes in the Suzuki method of teaching, which is based on the principle that all children possess the ability to play an instrument. This musical ability is developed and enhanced through a nurturing environment and with the encouragement of both parents and teachers as a team. Private lessons in violin, viola, and cello begin at age 4.
FEES
Semester Fee Schedule:
(16 lessons per semester or 32 lessons per school year)
30 minute Lessons
Fall & Spring Semester:
$125.20 per month
45 minute Lessons
Fall & Spring Semester:
$173.22 per month

60 minute Lessons
Fall & Spring Semester:
$221.22 per month

There is a No Make Up Policy. Only lessons missed by the teacher or missed due to a death in the family will be made up.
Group classes offered to NCYS students are available at no additional charge.
