THE LONGLEAF HOSPICE SENIOR SERIES
At the start of the 2018-19 season, Longleaf Hospice partnered with the Arts Association to present "The Longleaf Hospice Senior Series" as a way to bring the arts into assisted living facilities in the surrounding area. This series serves to entertain& engage the elderly community through performances by the Arts Association’s programs including, Theatre Covington, Covington Regional Ballet, Oxford Singers, Newton County Youth Strings and Newton County Community Band.
These performances bring great energy to the residents at each facility which in turn can help stimulate memory and improve communication skills. It’s also a fantastic bridge to close the generational gap between the young and young at heart. We are pleased to be able to provide arts experiences to ALL in our community!
