Porter Performing Arts Center is owned and maintained by the Newton County School System located on the Newton College and Career Academy campus. It is operated by the Arts Association in Newton County. NCSS District offices, NCCA and the Arts Association have first priority in scheduling space at Porter each year. Selected remaining dates are available to NCSS schools and outside clients.
All requests for reservations must be submitted in writing via this form.
Due to the high demand, those wishing to rent the facility are encouraged to include alternate dates. Dates for all reservations are subject to facility, resource and personnel availability. There are no guarantees regarding the availability of dates.
Please remember to allow for adequate setup and breakdown time in your request. No one will be admitted prior to your arranged access time. All participants and/or attendees must have exited the facility no later than your arranged time or additional fees will be assessed.
Please be aware that weather-related and/or other school system closures will be observed. Events will be rescheduled when possible.
NOTIFICATION OF SCHEDULING
