Creative Kids Camp 2018

A summer arts camp on the campus of Oxford College. Campers have the opportunity to spend the week learning new skills in music, singing, dance, drama & visual art. Instructors are experienced and certified elementary school teachers, artists and/or Arts Association staff who know how to make learning fun! In addition to instructors, middle and high school students serve as camp counselors. All students who will complete grades K – 5 in the 2017 – 2018 school year may register.

A non-refundable partial tuition payment of $25 is due at the time of registration. Online registration will begin on April 1,2018.

Counselors must be rising 7th – 12th graders and/or age 12 and up during the 2018/2019 school year.

There are a limited number of counselor positions available.   A committee of Arts Association volunteers and staff will review the applications.  Counselors will be selected based on several factors including the application, participation in previous Creative Kids Camps and participation in other Arts Association activities.

Please remember that the counselors’ responsibilities include but are not limited to escorting campers to and from each class and participating in class if the teacher requests; accompanying campers to the restroom; assisting teachers when asked; checking campers in and out every day; and actively participating in all activities. The people who serve as counselors are a major reason our camp has been so successful in the past. The counselors serve as mentors to the campers. It is a fun learning experience for all!

Remember this is a volunteer activity and each counselor will be required to pay $35.  One important change to note this year is all campers and counselors must provide their own lunch.

Applications are due no later than April 14th.

Counselors will be notified of their selection no later than April 30th.
